Ballard, Shane |
shane_num_1@hotmail.com |
Shane and his wife, Donna, live in Plano, Texas. Shane has an Associates of Applied Science Radiology degree. He was trained as an MRI technician at Parkland Hospital and has national certification in both X-Ray and MRI. He worked in construction as an electrician for several years, and was also a bartender for a while. For the past 8 years he has worked as an X-Ray technician, and also for 5 years an MRI technician. For hobbies, Shane is still a big reader and when he is not taking a class at CCCCD, he sometimes reads two books a week. He usually reads science fiction but says that anything will do in a pinch. He and Donna a own a home in Plano and he always has a long honey-do list that keeps him busy. NDHS taught him that no matter where you go or what you do, the basics you learn in school make it all possible. He is very glad to see more contact with NDHS classmates and he hopes it continues. |

Things Would Do Different: Out of all the teachers there were 4 who made an impact on my life. Mr. Rufus who tolerated my teasing and my awful behavior in the 9th grade, I do apologize. .Ms. Barnhill who appreciated my work in literature as a Junior, the Assistant Principal, who watched me blossom from an immature freshman to a mature young adult. It was upsetting to find out that he has since met with our maker. And last but not least, my instructor in the Annex bldg. I can't remember his name but he was over the work program...He made me understand that my attitude would determine my "Altitude". If I could just remember his name from 23 years ago...Comments: The only thing I would do different if I had the chance to repeat high school would be to try out for the drill team. My classmate Wills and I willed my "gold tooth" to Christine Aguillar...let her know, I have since had it removed and it's waiting for her approval for shipment.(smile). |
