Class news

H.B. Kernodle
(submitted by Bill Driscoll '55)
H.B. (class of 61) passed away today at about 1:30 pm. I received this information from Jimmy Miramontes.

If anyone has any updates as to arrangements please contact Walt Colbert or Danny Linn.

I played center for the Bulldogs and H.B. was the quarterback. We were quite familiar with one another. He will truly be missed.

10/14/2007 - I was in Dallas on business ~4 weeks ago and stopped by NDHS.  First time I'd been in the building since I graduated in 61'.  Weird feeling.  Also stopped by Trinity Church, which was Trinity Baptist church when I went there all those years ago AND stopped by William B. Travis elementary (the NEW school).  I was in the 6th grade there when 2 of my classmates burned

the original building down.   I turned 65 last month and guess I'm getting nostalgic. Thanks for all your hard work on the website!! Best regards,  Jerry
