2/22/05 - To NDHS Alums - I am the NDHS Booster Club President. I was approached by Brandon Bowens, 5'10", 265 lb., Senior All-District Defensive Tackle at North Dallas for help finding a sponsor for the National All Stars camp & All Star game at UT-Arlington in June. This is their website if you want to check them out ( www.nationalallstars.com). Brandon is a great kid and I have known him his entire high school career. He currently carries a 82.9% GPA and is not a trouble maker but a coach-able athlete who needs exposure to go to the next level. This camp will help provide that for him. One of our students went last year, had a great time and got a chance to make it at A&M- Kingsville. Coach Perez and I are hoping the same will happen for Bandon. Without sponsorship, Brandon financially can not make the camp. I will contribute and I ask that some of the alumni to consider helping Brandon. I believe he needs the money by March 20th or somewhere around that time. If some of the group want to contribute, let me know and I will get you the particulars, who to make check out to, deadline, etc. Thanks for considering this opportunity and thanks for everything you guys do for the Booster Club and the school. If anyone wants to help Brandon, send an email to Bill Driscoll [bd3tcu@comcast.net] who can point you to the person to make this happen.

| 2/22/05 - To the Booster Club - We have secured 500 hot dogs and chips, but are still short on sodas and hot dog buns. Thanks to Rafael Rodriguez and Janice Peacock for securing the food to this point. Be there Monday if you can. If you are a teacher or a coach we realize you have things to do, but stop by and have a hot dog with us. We will be in front of the cafeteria. This event is designed to introduce the Booster Club to the parents so we will be pushing membership. Need applications (Gil). Setup will start about 2:30 p.m. and we will be at the school until 8:30-9:00p.m.. Please show up whenever you can, we will definitely need the help. If you can help with a crock pot (2-3) or sodas and buns let me know. Also, let me know if you can make the event. | ||
